The goal of the Coalition is to provide training and support to Head Start Fatherhood Coordinators so they can be effective recruiters of fathers and significant others. To assist Head Start Fatherhood Coordinators from programs throughout the state, be effective mentors, advocates and leaders while dealing with male role models facing a variety of obstacles and challenges. Identify community programs for partnership and collaborations in an effort to provide the best resources to fathers and to use a variety of media resources to provide up-to-date recruitment and to showcase fatherhood related activities to increase community awareness and involvement.
